PURPOSE:To provide an arrangement for fan, which is capable of effecting forced intake and exhaust of air simultaneously by a single of fan, by dividing the inner space of fan into passages, and one of the passages is used for recirculation and forced exhaust of room air and the other passage is used for recirculation of room air and forced introduction of open air. CONSTITUTION:When impeller 3 is rotated by motor 2, room air a is drawn into impeller 3 after it is cleaned while passing through inlet port 7 and filter 7a. On the other hand, open air b is drawn from open-air inlet port 18 by the fan pressure aceted in fan intake passage 17a communicated to fan casing 5a and carried into impeller 3 together with room air a introduced from inlet port 7a. Then, open air thus mixed with room air is carried into fan outlet passage 11a and discharged into the room from outlet port 9. At the same time, a portion of room air carried into fan outlet passage 11 is discharged to the outside of the room via exhaust passage 12 whereas the remainder is blown into the room also from outlet port 9. |
