Compact heater for electrical equipment cabinet - has air circulating channels between plates with edges embedded in hardened resin

The compact heat exchanger is incorporated in the door of a cabinet for electrical equipment which is to be maintained in a warm atmosphere. The heat exchanger unit has two sets of heating elements mounted inside the bottom. These extend inwards towards each other with their terminal ends mounted on angle brackets near the outer edges. Above them are many horizontal flow channels through which air can circulate. These channels are formed by flat panels with their edges embedded in a layer of resin which has hardened after casting in place. The layer of hardened resin may itself form the outside of the unit.
