Toothed wheel and lever mechanism for a camera couples the film wind-on lever with shutter cocking and release. The toothed wheel pat of the wind-on lever engages a toothed segment of a hinged lever which transmits cocking action to the shutter. The shutter release lever is coupled to an intermediate lever between lever wind-on and shutter blade.
