<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the structure by giving a solid light sensitive element itself the color sensitivity of hue decision wherein color filters, color separation optical systems or the like are dead. CONSTITUTION:The first light sensitive electrode 12 is provided on the surface of a base platform 11 composed of a semiconductor. And the second light sensitive electrode 15 which is arranged by opposing to the first light sensitive electrode 12 is also provided in the inside of the base platform 11. The information on the hue of incident light is obtained on a difference in photoelectric conversion output by the first and the second light sensitive electrodes 12, 15. A current corresponding to photo strength at each light sensitive electrode 12, 15 flows into each read out electrode 13, 17 by applying gate signals to gate electrodes 14, 18.</p> |
