PURPOSE:To make a machine convenient for carrying and make it usable in any places by forming the same into the construction consisting in making its housing extendable in its longitudinal direction to correctly dispose respective process apparatus at the use. CONSTITUTION:A housing 100 is bisected 101, 102 to the right and left, which are fitted to each other freely slidably to be made freely convertible to an extended state of a size l1 in the longitudinal direction and to a contracted state of a size l2. A hole 113 into which the projection 110 of a lever 108 goes when they are extended is provided to an upper bottom plate 113 to lock them. Further, in the case of this state, the respective process apparatus are let to assume predetermined correct disposition relations that permit copying, wherein an electric charge 8, a selfoc lens array 9 and an original lighting lamp 10 are moved forward to the left in one body between the plane parts of an original platen 1 and a photosensitive belt 4, and are moved backward to the home positions. To contract them, they are unlocked; the top faces of the platen 1 and the half body 102 are superposed; the sag of the belt is wound to shafts 5, 11, and the conveying belt 18 and the fixing device 22 are entered into the bisected half bodies. In this way, the entire part is converted to a compact style. |
