Fuse box with verification of fuse capsule insertion - using sprung finger on shoulder of lever in fuse box and linked to signalling device

The fuse box (10) has a pivoted cover (11) with a seating into which the fuse capsule (14) is fitted, so that when the cover (11) is closed the fuse capsule (14) forms a conductive bridge between two spaced connection contacts. A lever (25) within the fuse base (10) has a shoulder carrying a finger (28) which is pushed downwards when the cover (11) is closed and a fuse capsule (14) is inserted, to allow the lever (25) to cooperate with a signalling device (22). Pref. the finger (28) is formed by one arm of a torsion spring wound around the lever (25), its other arm contacting a stop (34) integral with the fuse box (10).
