Cleaning arrangement for optical round window - uses cleaning disc(s) rotated outside centre and beam path

The cleaning arrangement is for a round window penetrated by an optical beam outside its centre. The window is rotatably driven through an axis extending through its centre and at right angles to its plane. The drive is initiated by at least one rotating cleaning disc outside both the centre and the beam path. A cleaning disc (11) saturated in cleaning liq. is followed by a dry cleaning disc in the direction of rotation. The region (13) penetrated by the beam path and cleaning discs can be separated by an angle of about 120 degrees. A cleaning liq. supply llead can discharge on the rotating window (14) in front of the first cleaning disc (11). Both discs can be driven by the same motor, possibly via gears. The motor can be mounted symmetrically w.r.t. the discs.
