Cyclone separator - for removing heavy portions from fibres of cotton scrap before main cleansing unit

Cyclone separator for removing the heavy particles and husks from fibrous material which is introduced tangentially into the top of a sheet metal casing, with the light fibres extracted vertically upwards and the heavier fraction taken from the base of the device, has a sieve casing made up of flat rods. These are vertical at the top but then close in to form an inverted dome shape with a central aperture for heavy material. Rods are tangential to the general shape of the casing, and reduce in width from top to bottom. Absence of transverse connections between the rods promotes the steady flow of fibrous material.
