PURPOSE:To permit a close contact of an external lead wire to the cap of a bulb, by folding back the external lead wire, which is led out from between an edge part of the cap shell and the bulb, along the outer face of the cap shell edge part while applying a tension to said external lead wire. CONSTITUTION:An end part of an external lead wire E is supported by clip holding arms 4, 4 at a prescribed clipping pressure. Then a bending substance 25 makes a turning motion upward to hook an interim part of the external lead wire E by its pressing part 27 and bend upward said external lead wire E. The external lead wire E is sharply curved at the edge part of a cap C, and its base end portion is folded in such a manner as to be closely contacted to the outer face at the edge part of the cap C. Said base end portion is cut off, and a solder or the like is filled in a concaved groove D of an outer tube bulb B and a recessed part F of the cap C to bury the cut off end part of said external lead wire E therein and apply a brazing to the cap C. |
