<p>The endless conveyor belt (30) moves inclined over guide rollers (21,22). It is designed so that the inclination of the upper vibrating run (32) of the belt increases considerably at the lower belt end (30b) where the vibration impact is minimal. This ensures that when the mixture of e.g. sugar beet and gravel is fed onto the conveyor belt the lighter waste particles are carried up on the belt whilst the heavier crops roll down against the running direction of the conveyor. At the more sharply inclined lower section of the belt they drop off into the collector receptacle ensuring no backlog builds up.</p> |
