<p>A mixing head, for at least two liq. reagents plus additives such as fillers e.g. CaCO3, pigment- and/or reinforcement e.g. glass fibre - and particularly for polyurethane, has a mixing chamber with inlet nozzles and a plunger to eject the mix, the additives being fed in along the axial bore of the plunger. A special device (replaceable with the plunger) is introduced through the axial bore of the plunger into the chamber and produces additional mixing by e.g. rotation and/or its shape (e.g. thread or gap), and/or it produces a reduced ejection speed of the mix by reducing the chamber volume; it is self-cleaning when withdrawn from the chamber and/or it adjustably closes the bore as a mixing valve. Precise metering of fillers, good self-cleaning, with optimal blending are achieved.</p> |
