<p>An unsaturated polyester resin composition comprising an unsaturated polyester obtained by using a dibasic acid represented by the following general formula: (FORMULA) (wherein R1 to R10 each represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, R" to R"""" may be the same as, or different from, each other and each represents an alkyl group capable of being ester-exchanged, m represents 1 or 2, and n represents 0 or 1), and an unsaturated polybasic acid, and reacting them with a polyhydric alcohol, and an aromatic vinyl monomer. When hardened in the presence of a catalyst, this composition provides unsaturated polyester mouldings having alkali resistance and boiling water resistance, and exhibiting decreased heat contraction upon hardening. </p> |
