Connecting devices for connecting a tool, for example an annular bit (4), to a rotatingly drivable spindle (1) normally consist of a tool holder (2) connected to the spindle and a connecting piece (3) connected to the tool, in which arrangement the tool holder and the connecting piece can be connected to one another by means of connecting threads. In order to achieve improved centring of the tool, it is proposed that the tool holder (2) have an external thread (7) and that the connecting piece (3) have an internal thread (8). At the same time, the tool holder and the connecting piece are provided with peripheral centring surfaces allocated to one another, the peripheral centring surfaces (9, 11) of the tool holder (2) being external surfaces and the peripheral centring surfaces (10, 12) of the connecting piece (3) being internal surfaces. <IMAGE> |
