<p>The process is for the recovery of spray material, which is lost by overspray during spray coating of working pieces in spray booth. A continuous belt (6) moves behind the work pieces (4), catches the spray material which passes the work pieces, and feeds it to a rinsing system. The belt is honeycomb-shaped, and consists of relatively movable members of flat material, which allows an easy deflection. The members are air-permeable, and prevent air built-up. The narrow sides of the honeycombs attract the electrostatic particles, while the wide sides, together with their relative movement in relation to the spray jet, give rise to a wiping catching action.</p> |
