<p>The vehicle, particularly a motor coach, comprises a power unit (3) including an engine (4) in the rear (2) of the vehicle body and a hydraulic system to recover brake energy. This system comprises an hydraulic pump (6) coupled to the unit (3), at least one hydraulic motor (8), and a hydraulic power storage unit (10) which is pressurised, at least during braking. The power storage unit is arranged outside the passenger compartment and forms a functional part of the vehicle body. The hydraulic pump is arranged as part of the power unit in the rear. The power storage unit may be arranged in the roof of the vehicle.</p> |
