PURPOSE:To make a small-size copying machine portable by the constitution consisting in reciprocatively moving an image carrier, performing electric charging and exposing processes during its stoppage period, forming a developing device and a cleaner means into one unit, and building all the process members into one machine box. CONSTITUTION:Upon closing of a copying start switch, a motor 27 runs, and causes scanning and exposure systems of an electric charger 8, a Selfoc lens 2, a lighting system 3, etc. to move integrally, whereby electrostatic latent images are formed on an image carrier 5. The exposure scanning completion signal causes the image carrier 5 to be moved by a drum 9 and the images are visualized by a developing magnetic roller 12. Synchronously with the movement of the image carrier 5, a copying material P adheres to a photoreceptor 5 right under the drum 9 and the toner images on the image carrier are transferred by a transfer charger 14. After the transfer, the copying material P passes through a fixing device 24, where it is fixed by the heat of an electric heater or the like, thence it is discharged from a discharge port 31. |
