PURPOSE:To measure accurately radiation dose, by normalization-counting energy of radiation of energy smaller than a prescribed magnitude by controlling closure of gates according to a set point and so on. CONSTITUTION:The radiation detection value dependent upon radiation detecting unit 1 becomes a binary digital value by A/D converter 2 and is accumulated in accumulating unit 4 through AND gates n<0>, n<1>..., where opening and closing are controlled through the inverter of control unit 3 for logical negation of a prescribed upper bit corresponding to a set point, and is counted by counting unit 5. Consequently, normalization counting is performed only for scattered radiation of energy smaller than a prescribed magnitude and so on, so that radiation dose can be measured accurately according to the purpose.
