Novel 3,4,5-trimethoxy-cinnamoyl-piperazine derivatives are provided having the general formula: wherein Ar is a 4-acetyl-2-ethoxy-phenyl group or a benzodioxanyl group having one of a number of possible substituents on the benzene ring, have particular utility in the treatment of cardiovascular disorders and can be incorporated into pharmaceutical compositions.
