摘要 PURPOSE:To inexpensively manufacture an ingot having a superior internal quality without causing the segregation, internal crack, center crack, etc., by exerting a thrust higher than a fixed value to the inner unsolidified molten steel and changing the guiding direction of the ingot while flowing the molten steel at the solid-liquid interface after solidifying the outer circumference of the molten steel to a fixed thickness. CONSTITUTION:>=50mm. Fe, especially >=100mm. thrust, is exerted to the inner unsolidfied molten steel by the method using on electromagnetic stirring apparatus or by a mechanical external force including a high frequency vibration after cooling the molten steel and solidifying its outer circumference to >=100mm. thickness. And, the molten steel is flowed at the solid-liquid interface by the above-mentioned thrust and guiding direction of the ingot is changed impeding the solidification accompanied by thickening of the molten steel. Method and apparatus for casting continuously at low melting temp. and under static pressure with about <=5m small curvature having superior economical efficiency and workability, without using conventional vertical drawing mathod or the drawing method with >10m large curvature, has become possible to be adopted if an ingot is produced in accordance with the process of this in vention.
