PURPOSE:To make stable the read-in accuracy, by eliminating the track location change of disc, through the application of belt tension to the disc spindle shaft from specific direction. CONSTITUTION:The tension of the belt 6 turning the disc 2 is exerted to the spindle shaft 4 of the disc 2 from the direction orthogonal to the seek direction 11 in which the read-in head 9 moves with the actuator 17. With this constitution, since the track location of the direction 11 is not changed since no effect of belt tension is given. Accordingly, the read-in accuracy of high density recording can be made stable. |
