The baby's feeding bottle, made of glass, plastics or other suitable material, is of cylindrical shape with a neck of reduced diameter to receive a teat. A valve is fitted to the side of the bottle to admit air to replace the milk as it is consumed. This valve has a seat formed integrally with the bottle and a conical valve head forming part of a screwed cap. By rotating the cap the rate of inflow of air can be controlled.. The position of the cap provides a visual indication of the rate of air inflow. The valve prevents the formation of a froth on the milk and permits the baby to drink continuously.
