A pneumatic ball-throwing machine has a ball reservoir inside a pneumatic pressure chamber (14) charged by pneumatic pressure means (40, 42). The machine includes ball feed means (28) adapted to feed balls cyclically into 2 the inlet opening (30) of a ball in discharge tube (32) leading out of the pressure chamber.
