<p>PURPOSE:To expand the visual field of inspection by reducing the area of a fixed mask by providing a movable mask, which covers the side part of a vial partially, to a device that inspects the existance of pictorial foreign matter and its quantity in terms of the vial with an air tube. CONSTITUTION:Vials 1 with air tube 11, mounted on turntable 3 from supply side 2, are sent to discharge side 4 along turning table 3 and while normal vials 1 are sent out through normal-vial outlet 5, defectives are led out through defective outlet 6. Around table 3, inspecting TV cameras 8 and 9 and photodetector 7 are provided to inspect automatically the existance and quantity of pictorial foreign matter. Fixed mask 13 that shields gas-liquid interface 12 of air tube 11 from direct incident light is arranged on the bottom of vial 1 being made greater than the outer diameter of air tube 11 and movable mask 15 that moves by receiving information from photodetector 7 is further provided. Then, the information from photodetector 7 is applied to mask driver 14 to move mask 15, thereby prevent halation perfectly by masks 13 and 15.</p> |
