PURPOSE:To obtain a good-quality copy from any original, by changing the exposure light quantity corresponding to the white original by control of the primary charging equipment, the secondary charging simultaneous exposure equipment, and so on to change the correlative curve between the original density and the photosensitive material surface potential. CONSTITUTION:Primary charging equipment 5, secondary charging simultaneous exposure equipment 7, lamp 8 for exposure of the whole, and so on are arranged around drum-form photosensitive material 3. The photosensitive material surface is charged electrically by primary charging equipment 5 and secondary charging equipment 7 while rotating photosensitive material 3 in the arrow direction. The exposure light quantity corresponding to the white original is changed to set correlative curves shown by the dotted line and the solid line for line drawing originals or gray originals and area picture originals, for example, high-density originals such as silver salt photographs respectively. Thus, the correlative curve between the picture density and the photosensitive material surface potential is changed according to originals, so that a copy of a proper density can be obtained from any original. |
