PURPOSE:To ensure the impedance matching with the load in a simple way, by varying the width of the strip impedance at an optional position. CONSTITUTION:The surge impedance is varied at position P2 by giving variation to the width of strip line S at optional position P1. Thus the impedance matching is secured with the load to be connected to the strip line. In this case, however, if the width is varied suddenly, the reflection is caused for the high-frequency current. To prevent this, the impedance is changed to be exponential. With use of two strip lines Sb and Sb thus formed, the matching can be obtained with main strip line Sa. In this way, the impedance matching is ensured in a simple way. |
