PURPOSE:To obtain accurately descending and ascending speeds of a submarine by measuring the sinking and rising speeds of the submarine with a pressure sensor and a differentiator. CONSTITUTION:A pressure signal from a seawater pressure sensor at a submarine side is passed through a time differentiator and amplifier and then inputted to a speed indicator which is a voltmeter provided with a speed scale. A seawater concentration corrector, receiving signals from the pressure sensor and a temperature sensor, makes a concentration correction proportional to the pressure and another concentration correction to the seawater temperature, and sends the corrected value to an amplifier to add it to the amplified value. In addition, if the pressure sensor is provided with a sea-depth voyage log, abnormal-sea-depth warning device, etc., and the speed indicator is provided with an abnormal-speed warning device, etc., the steering of the ship is more facilitated. With such constitution, the accurate descending and ascending speeds of the submarine can be obtained. |
