发明名称 COMPOSITE HEAT ACCUMULATOR
摘要 PURPOSE:To effectively accumulate heat from a heat source of varying temperature level by a method wherein a plurality of packed beds comprising heat accumulating materials of different melting points are arranged in a heat accumulating container. CONSTITUTION:When packed beds 14-16 are arranged in a heat accumulating cintainer, with beds of higher melting point located nearer to an inlet 12 for heating medium, the temperature distribution in the container will be as shown in the diagram. When the melting point of the heat accumulating material is reached in each packed bed, there takes place absorption of latent heat so that the heat accumulating speed becomes extremely high as indicated by the curve 20. That is, since the absorption of latent heat occurs simultaneously at different portions of the interior of the heat accumulator, the accumulation of heat into the heat accumulator is effected rapidly and the time required for transferring heat into the heat accumulator is largely reduced. In addition, effective heat accumulation is achieved at every part of the heat accumulating materials in the heat accumulating container 10 and thermal efficiency of the heat accumulator is improved.
