PURPOSE:To prevent the film from vibrating at both its selvages, carry out its uniform glazing and improve the yield of the film by a method wherein the preventing device for the film selvage vibration is provided near both ends of an air knife in order to push either ends of the selvages and the like toward a glazing roll. CONSTITUTION:The preventing device 6 for film selvage vibration consists of a cylindrical holder 6a, a pin 6b which can slide in the said holder 6a and run out freely, a spring 6c which acts so as to make the said pin 6b always run out and an adjust screw 6d interlocked in the holder 6a so as to adjust the pressure of the said spring 6c. Such devices 6, 6 are provided at both side ends of the air knife 5 and a breeze is blown from the air knife 5 so tht the film or the sheet pressed by a T die can attach closely to the glazing roll 3. At the same time, both selvage of the film are pressed by the pin 6b protruding from the top end of the holder 6a of the device 6 to the side of the glazing roll 3 to prevent the selvage from vibrating. |
