Car seat-belt retract system

Car seat-belt retract system with an inertia-dependent blocking mechanism 21 which operates via its connection with the spindle 13 of the retract system. The blocking mechanism 21 comprises a crown 29 which is carried in an annular groove on spindle 13 and has an opening large enough to allow it to be suspended like a pendulum on the spindle. Between the crown 29 and the bottom of the annular groove there is a freely-movable ball 32 which is designed to be clamped in between the crown and the bottom of the annular groove in order to press the crown against a fixed blocking element 35 when the spindle is locked to prevent rotation.
