PURPOSE:To widely simplify the manufacturing method of a face plate structural unit for a tube, by consistently forming its constitutional parts on the face plate. CONSTITUTION:In the vicinity of the circumferential edge part of a face plate 1, a signal take-off conductor 11 is sealed, and on the central part a stripe-shaped color filter 2 is formed, further a conductor wiring 6' connected to the signal take-off conductor 11 is constructed. Then a sedimentary glass 12 is formed and a hole 13 is drilled. And then on the sedimentary glass 12 a transparent conductive film 4 is formed. Then transparent conductive film 4 is electrically connected to the conductor wiring 6', and a picture signal can be taken out to the outside of a tube by the signal take-off conductor 11. |
