PURPOSE:To perform the operation of simultaneous firing for an engine without increasing a dielectric strength at the secondary side of a firing coil in a device, by connecting an impedance element in series to the simultaneous firing coil and parallelly connecting it to one of the first and second spark plug equipped to the same cylinder of the engine. CONSTITUTION:A high voltage output of a secondary coil 5 in a simultaneous firing coil 3 passes through output terminals 6, 7 of the secondary coil 5 and is successively distributed by distributing rotors 15a, 15b to each of spark plugs 10a, 10b... arranged in each of the same cylinders to make an ignition. At this time because a condenser 14 is connected to the output terminal 7 of the secondary coil 5, the waveform of a voltage applied to the spark plug 10a is different from that applied to the spark plug 10b. In this way, high voltage ouput lines can result in the less requirement of dielectric strength across said lines. |
