PURPOSE:To achieve multi-sheet copy printing by performing heating in an image pattern after containing a specific spiro pyrane derivative in a photosensitive and heat- sensitive body and by developing its color by irradiating the entire surface with active radiation, and then by repeating three processes of charging, developing, and transferring. CONSTITUTION:On a conductive base (e.g., Al drum) 1, a phtosensitive and heat-sensitive layer 2 consisting principally of an indolinobenzopyrylspirane[2,2'] derivative polymer shown by formula (R and X; substituent) or solid solution polymer is formed to obtain a photosensitive and heat-sensitive body 3. The layer 2 is activated by irradiating the entire surface of the body 3 with ultraviolet rays from a lamp 9 fo color development and the surface is heated in an image pattern with a heating body (heat pen, laser emitting hot rays, etc.) to make the heated part discolored. Since the discolored part and colored part differ in electric resistance, the charge of the colored part is decreased by a corona charge 5 and an electrostatic latent image is formed at the discolored part. It is developed 6 and trasferred to transfer paper 7 by using a transfer charger. For the 2nd time or later, the process following the charging process is only repeated. After copying ends, the entire surface is irradiated and reproduced for reuse. |
