PURPOSE:To obtain an analog output from one output terminal by composing digital data of a binary code, and by inputting the state of the binary code for positive data of its complement state for negative data. CONSTITUTION:A maximum numeral displayed by using the complement code of 8-bit digital data is 01111111=+127, and a minimum numeral is 10000000= -128 (where the most significant digit bits 0 and 1 of those digital data are sign bits showing positive and negative respectively). those digital data D0-D7 are used as an input signal to a D/A converting circuit 11, so that a signal D7 obtained by inverting the most significant digit bit by an inverter 22, and signals D0-D6 appear at input termanals I0-I7. When a reference voltage is set a half as high as the maximum value of an output voltage, an output waveform at an output terminal 21 has a higher voltage value than the voltage V0 when the input signal is positive or a lower voltage than the voltage when negative. |
