PURPOSE:To prevent a developer from falling out of a hopper, by providing a magnetic body for assisting the conveyance of the developer to a developing device equipped with a scraping member which scrapes and stirs the developer. CONSTITUTION:A scraping member 11 scrapes and stirs the remaining developer on the sleeve 3 of a developing roller 2. In a developing device equipped with said scraping member, a magnetic body 16 for assisting the conveyance of a developer is provided, facing the developing roller 2, on a wall at the lower end of a hopper 5. As a result, the developer carrying force of the developing roller is further increased by a magnetic field induced between magnets 4 in the sleeve 3 and the magnetic body 16. Therefore, the developer never falls from the release part 7 of the hopper 5. Thus, even when the scraping and stirring effect of the scraping member is improved, the falling of the developer is prevented. |
