The capacitor may comprise anode foil strips cut from an anodized sheet of valve metal, e.g. aluminium, wound into a roll with cathode foil and a paper separator impregnated with electrolyte. The constant current is obtained by regulating the current from a stabilized voltage source. Secondary formation may be carried out before or after the rod is placed in a housing but prior to sealing. The capacitors may be aged at, e.g., 85‹ C. for 0À5 to 2 hours by applying a voltage between the working voltage and the secondary formation voltage. |
