<p>The machine cuts up stone blocks using an endless bandsaw running horizontally round guide mechanisms, one at least of which is driven. The mechanisms travel up and down columns of a supporting frame under the action of synchronised drives, and the straights runs of the saw pass through a number of sawing stations. Each guide mechanism (5) comprises a truck (9) guided on a column (2) of the frame (1), and on which is a plate (21) with rollers (23) defining a path for the bandsaw(6). An endless driving belt runs round the rollers and between them and the bandsaw. Two frames (12) fixed to the table have rollers running against rails on the column and a nut (17) in which a screwed spindle (18) parallel to the column works. The spindle is turned via a transmission system (20, 20a) by a controllable motor with reduction gear (M).</p> |
