Seismographic positioning system - using two point sources of sound waves with known radiation energy ratio

Seismographic positioning system uses two separate point sources of sound with a known ratio of their emitted energy or radiation, and receivers to record the reflections from underground interfaces or boundaries, superimposed on the emitted signals. Pref. ratio of the emitted energies is 1.33-125 (3.375 to 27). Patent quotes the equations which define curves with a scaler relation, and the regression algorithm which is used to segregate the reflected signal. This method can be applied without having to make the assumptions required for the least-squares time-domain inverse filtering method.
