<p>Fading-resistant diazo microfilm has a layer of partly hydrolysed cellulose ester (I), min. 12.7 micron thick, and a light-sensitive 2-component diazo compsn. contg. an acid-stabilised combination of a light-sensitive diazonium cpd. and a suitable coupler, opt. on a polyester film base. The novel feature is that (I) has a degree of hydrolysis adjusted by the ratio of the IR absorption at 5.8 and 6.1 micron to 0.5-1.5. The depth (degree) of hydrolysis of the (I) film base can be determined easily by the IR method. Pref. (I) consists of a cellulose alkanoate and is ca. 5 micron thick.</p> |
