Protective cover for water meter - comprises moulded shell with pipe protective mouldings and opening for meter dial

The moulded shell of synthetic material which can be manufactured on a production line fits over the water meter. This provides protection for the meter particularly those encased in wood. A protective moulding of polystyrene comprises a central shell (1) whose dimensions correspond with those of the meter being protected. A central opening (6) allow the counter dial to be read directly. Reduced size side mouldings (2) with an inverted U shape (4) cover cut away sections (3) in the sides of the shell to allow the water inlet and outlet pipes to pass through. These side mouldings provide protection for the pipes.
