In a pulse width modulated servo system with solenoid- controlled "on-off" valves 3, 4 regulating the pressure medium amount in both chambers 10, 14 with variable volume in a double-acting piston-cylinder unit 11, the limitation of accuracy caused by the time-lag of the valves is avoided by continuously actuating both chambers in opposite directions.
