<p>The metal band for the sliver loosening roller housing closure is inserted so that the gap between their ends lies, in the line of fibre travel, between the openings to the feed channel. The metal band is under tension while in place in the housing, lying against the housing inner wall. The band is held in place by a quick-release mounting. The design allows a rapid exchange, and ensures that the band stays in place after insertion.</p> |
