The equipment aids the changing of bits in an angular dentists drill, having a chuck spring-loaded shut and mounted in the driving shaft. It has two shanks (1,4) roughly parallel and hinging together to form a hand-operated tongs, between which the head (21,22) of the drill is inserted, the protruding shaft end (26) towards the bit bearing against the inside of one shank (1). The other shank (4) has a thrust pin (19,20) fixed to its inside and fitting in the rear side of the head so as to act against the chuck. The shank bearing against the shaft can have a shaped portion forming a stop (3) for the head, so as to align the latter with the thrust pin.
