PURPOSE:To make it easy to modify contents at multiple addresses in response to a change in the number of receiving stations of multiple address communication by making a multiple address area rewritable. CONSTITUTION:To set multiple address D1 to receiving stations 2 of individual destination addresses A1, A2 and An from transmitting station 1, frame F3 is transmitted from transmitting station 1. Then, receiving stations 2, when addresses set in individual address areas coincide with received individual destination addresses, discriminate frame F3 in which the multiple address is set and writes the received multiple address D1 in the multiple address areas. For multiple address communication, frame F2 with multiple address D1 added is sent from transmitting station 1 and while receiving stations of individual destination addresses A1, A2 and An store received information in their information areas since the received addresses coincide with set address D1, the receiving station of address A3 receives no information since both the individual destination address and multiple address disagree. |
