The electro-hydraulic servo comprises an electric motor driving a centrifugal pump and a piston with a piston rod, the unit being filled with a hydraulic liquid hermetically sealed off from the atmosphere. Between a liquid chamber (6) and an air chamber (7) are one or more elastic components (8) separating the hydraulic liquid from air, typically membranes between a housing (9) and a cover (10), or alternatively a rubber moulding filled with liquid, or a rubber hose closed at the bottom by a sealing piece and a clamping strap. The elastic components can be connected to atmosphere via a port, or valve.
