PURPOSE:To stably perform piercing or cutting of arbitrary shapes with desired accuracy by controlling pulse separation at the time of irradiating electric gate type laser pulse light to the work. CONSTITUTION:The work A is set on a table 1 and air being supplied to a laser head 4 is blown to the work. The table 1 is moved based on the program data of a numerical control unit 7 and laser pulse light is radiated to the work A, whereby working is started. At this time, the signal proportional to the moving distance of the table 1 is sent by an encoder to a vector signal generator 8, so that the pulse signal proportional to the moving distance on the locus of a working mode is generated. This signal is sent to a counter circuit 9. Every time when the count number reaches preset number, the signal is sent to a laser generator 5, whereby the pulse separation of the laser pulse light is controlled. As a result, the laser pulse light synchronized to the moving speed of the work A is irradiated and the stable working is done. |
