The switch-over coupler is intended for connecting a tube (14) to one (8) or another (8') pipe via a slidable tubular connector (9) fixed to the tube. The connector carries a pin (12) extending into a slot (11) of a slide block. The slot has a lateral recess (17) which allows axial movement of the pin when the block is moved across to disengage the pipe connection. The connector itself is held by a wheeled (15) carriage (2) running on rails (10,13), which allows the connector to be moved across between stops from alignment with one pipe to the other.
