<p>The holder retains a mineral cutter pick in its associated pick box. The holder consists of a member with a socket for receiving a shank of the pick and a latch with an elastomeric body. The end parts (3) of the body (1) are received in cavities in the member on either side of the socket, and are positioned such that the central part (5) of the body lies at least partly in the socket whereby it can engage the shank. The central part may have a semi-cylindrical wear resistant steel member (6).</p> |
