<p>The light fitting has a cold light source and a separate light fitting body, coupled together by a light conductor. The latter consists of different sections, the one facing the light source (1) being in the form of a hollow light conductor with deflection mirrors (4,5). At least the part, ending in the main light fitting (9), is formed by an optical fibre conductor (7) enclosed by a tube. One deflection mirror (4) is semitransparent, passing light to at least one auxiliary light fitting (16). The light source is mounted outside the operation theatre, and the hollow conductor in this theatre and the tube enclosing the optical fibre conductor form suspensions for the light fitting. Pref. the optical fibre conductor is provided in the tube with a clearance. The hollow codncutor for the auxiliary light fitting may contain an annular mirror (12) with an aperture for passing light to an additional light fitting (19) via another hollow conductor.</p> |
