<p>Treads are supported at both ends by steel load bearing elements, in cantilevered stairs for straight or curved flights. The support elements are steel tubes of appropriate dimensions, installed by screwing at the point of assembly. For each tread they can comprise two square or rectangular- sectioned support tubes (5), two spacer tubes (6) and two guide tubes (7)- the latter linking successive tread support tubes with the aid of screws (8). Guide and spacer tubes may be centered by guide rings (11). Min. mechanical effort is involved, and small, similar components can be easily brought onto site, assembled and adjusted.</p> |
