Two or more rollable shed-type lengths can be telescopically rolled one above the other from a closing position, covering the pool, into a storage position. The system is esp as used where there are divin platforms or similar elevated structures. On the outer transverse side (26) of the shed length, sited at the rear in the open position (12), there is a height-adjustable wall section (28,36) which can be stored in front of, or behind, the top fixed wall section (26). The height-adjustable section is pref. as wide as the open width of the shed length. The cover system enables the pool to be used either as an indoor or an outdoor pool.
